ONT Ethernet is not negotiating at 1Gbps but at 100Mbps

94mbps is exactly the limit for Fast Ethernet (100Mbps)

Maybe ask Afrihost to renegotiate the port on their end or Openserve (could be faulty ONT) or router even

Speed lock has happened again and I rebooted ONT and it has fixed this time.

Probably faulty ONT

The connection keeps dropping while I am playing online games kicking me and the connection keeps locking at 94Mbps.

This problem is making me mad.

Please can you arrange for Vumatel to come out to my house and replace the ONT box?

There is currently a major outage affecting ALL Vumatel, Evotel and Open Fibre clients in Gauteng.

Our night shift teams are working through the over 2000 tickets and callbacks logged in the last few minutes and more coming in. Apologies for the delay in responses.
