Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Was running fine during the day in EL, but experiencing DL speed loss now in the evening, upload is stable.
DL speeds first were slow from 6pm - 8:30pm then ultra packetloss as per the last few days.

I am gathering all the accounts experiencing issues in the area to submit to Vuma.

@Afrigirl @AfriNatic

I am still experiencing packet loss and unstable connection every single night for the past few weeks in Vuma Villages. What is the situation here, is Vumatel still in the process of upgrades? Have they acknowledged that there is an issue?

@Afrigirl and @AfriNatic

Internet dropping router goes from red light to green randomly

Happened when I got home after holiday and internet has been iffy since the IP change went from public ip to NAT

Some Xbox nat issues (parties) as well after this change

Really bad tonight in East London ( Beacon Bay ) as well. I am on 1000/200 and have not managed to get download speeds over 200Mbps for the past week or two. Night time packet loss is not being resolved

Bad tonight again this side of the bridge (Greenfields)

Do I not have the ability to see my PPPoE details in the ClientZone anymore, it just lists reset password?

East London/Vumatel issues again. Lost my DNS, 4 min power-off of ONT and router, DNS back but download speed still at 20%, upload speed normal

@Afrigirl
also want to get some answers, last year was terrible in terms of the intermittent disconnects.
I received a communication from my former ISP in December that Vuma would be doing maintenance on their "legacy Vuma Villages" network (previously known as SADV)
Did Vuma provide any update on this network remediation performed in December? as it's evident that the disconnects are still happening ...

Same issue in Beacon Bay from about 30 December. Still no resolution to the 20% speed and nightly jitter/latency issues. @Africagirl it’s been 10 days now, will we be getting a discount for the low speeds we are getting. I am paying for 1000/250 and I am getting 200/200. Can someone please get back to me with a follow up from our previous PM’s
