Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

On my reverse trace to me from my overseas monitoring points seems to be dropping.
I wonder if it's a cable break again, like last time. When tons fell over after the breaks.

I've had latency and packet loss big time internationally, it seems like something is happening somewhere the past couple days but ye, maybe a cable. Haven't seen any mention tho.

You could share some tracert or pingplotter test to those servers so we can see where the loss starts.

Hi sry was away for a bit. its a bit hard to do ping test to games server.

1. they don't advertise there IP's and most these day's are Azure or AWS instances.
2. most if not all of them block icmp packets so they don't respond to ping requests.

Like I said local speed test and speed are 100% fine, is when we go international or even JHB server that this happens.

You can grab their IP's in a few different ways while playing the game
 
Please get this Afrihost / Metrofibre mess in lonehill, paulshoff, Sunninghill sorted. Somehow only Afrihost is affected. The connection down 90% of the time and up for a few minutes every hour. This has been going on since Saturday morning and AH getting trashed in every community group

Same issue, all other ISPs seem fine.

Good morning.

We are troubleshooting with MFN, and a few tests are required. They do not see anything wrong on their end. Is anyone currently home right now?
 
@Afrigirl / @AfriNatic when OS moves to the new L2TP system what IP ranges will they run on since they can't use the old ones anymore (I was always on 169.0.x.x) - would like to just update a few firewall rules I have.

I can confirm the IP range.
@AfriNatic will update us as soon as the migration begins.
