Hello. I am sorry for the late reply. The outage was logged yesterday morning and has not been cleared. Please confirm if the line is still down.

Hi Afrigirl, I have phoned Vodacom myself and the issue has been resolved on Friday afternoon. And still no feedback on my support call that was logged.

Server Admin, has advised that we use that button for now they are working on resolving the issue at hand.

Gardening service cut my fibre line and can't log onto the site to create ticket. Would you be able to assist?
What's the average lead time on this kinda issue?

Hi. It can be up to 72 hours. They Fibre network provider will need to check the fault and then send out a quote for repairs. Please send me a PM

Same, same, exact same. Getting sub 5Mb/s down and normal up ATM.
 
Thinking about moving over to Afrihost because Vox service is absolutely non-existent. Currently have a 1gbps line and only get around 50mbps download speed. Should i move to Afrihost?

They have given me the best service of any ISP to date. For just over a year. Their WhatsApp support is super fast and efficient. Just recently (see above) have been having issues. Email support is also great. The forum support here is also one of the best things.

Oh, there was just this guy Gian... he nagged me for a couple of days to get some service or something...

Obviously my comment comes with the usual YMMV, etc terms and conditions.

The change request has been completed. Can all Vuma clients in East London please test the line during the cause of the day and in the evening and advise? We will take it from there.

My line died after the change, now waiting for Vuma to come and have a look :(
Having to use my dead slow Rain backup:mad:
 
Interesting thing I just noticed, at 10am my London ping went from 190ms to 170ms and then at 10pm it changed back to 190ms.

I'll have to check a traceroute next time to see what it swaps to and from.
