CGNAT - Carrier Grade NAT or otherwise called Double NAT. It means the ISP, because of the scarcity of IPV4 IP addresses, uses this method of double NATTING to save on the number of IP addresses they need to connect clients to the internet. @Afrigirl Tried to switch over at around 11PM/12AM. Worked.

5 minutes later it kicked back to dynamic. So yeah, no clue what's going on.

Edit: oh, I see there's some issues going on at Afrihost. I assume that may have exacerbated the issue. Bad timing lol

Just when I am seriously considering a move to fiber, a multi-day outage, ... :(
 
I didn't even know there was a problem until I saw the mybb article. AH/Openserve running at full speed.
 
Anyone currently experiencing downtown or intermittent connection?

There would be no Afrihost service available where starlink is installed so this will never happen.
