My monitoring is not showing it down currently. I see quite a sizable amount of traffic for Vuma Village

Preinstall WarZone 2.0 has started. Are you tell me Afrihost cant cope with everyone downloading WarZone 2 ?

I can't share exact figures but right now for Vuma Villages we are using 2/10 of the installed capacity. There is a lot of capacity free. This issue is not a congestion issue.

I never had any problems when I was on 1000Mbps problems only started when I changed to 200Mbps. Should I change back to a higher speed?

Just an update on the other reoccurring issue where traffic drops off completely. Vuma has a schedule change to remove a switch which is believed to be causing the issue by close of business tomorrow. We are hopeful this will resolve the issue going forward.

We currently running our proof of concept trial in Gauteng and so the following FNO's have been enabled for PPPoE if the traffic terminates at Teraco Isando.

MetroFibre
TTConnect
Vuma Villages
Purple Forest
Clear Access (to be added today)

For now, only MetroFibre clients on Nokia rollouts work.

We are facing some challenges with this though. We rely heavily on client isolation features like DHCP snooping and Mac-forced-forwarding(MFF) to prevent DHCP storms on Layer 2. With these features enabled PPPoE is disabled and can't be enabled until these are switched off. Switching these off there is a huge risk of storms that could be difficult to mitigate.

So with all that said we are back at the drawing board before we expand ppp to other regions and FNO's
