It does seem to be happening less frequently, so something has worked. And the outages are shorter, the prompt action is appreciated. We have observed another even this evening and Vumatel has mitigated the impact.
Changes made by Afrihost, Echosp and Vumatel have not been successful in mitigating these events.
Came to post the same thing. Vuma down again.I didn't expect it so early today...
Nooooooooo, I'm just about to leave the office, was looking forward to getting some gaming in before load-shed
Hi, you will need to use Afrihost's order form https://www.afrihost.com/fibre/Hi there,
Ok, so coverage/apartment went green on the Openserve map, submitted the installation request on Openserve website, was that the right way to request fibre?
Or do I do it via Afrihost which I will be taking as my ISP?
Probably just too soon to ask this, but will there be any Black Friday sign-up deals coming up with Afrihost?
Thanks,
Is this Double Speed Promotion for existing customers also, and if it is, how do we sign up for the promotion?Hi, you will need to use Afrihost's order form https://www.afrihost.com/fibre/
Unfortunately, we do not have Black Friday deals. Our Fibre Sign-Up Promotion is still available and we are currently running a Double Speed Promotion with Openserve for qualifying line speeds only (25Mbps and 50Mbps).
Please take note of the following Network Incident logged. Vuma Villages clients will experience degraded performance.

Thanks for the feedback AfrinaticFor both the Octotel and the Openserve promo it applies to both new and existing clients. For Openserve, existing clients on the 25 and 50Mbps will get an email notification to claim their free upgrade.
