I called customer service last week. Happy assisted me and assured me that as soon as Vox let go of the line, Afrihost will take it over. I confirmed with him that I will be active on the 1st and he confirmed back.
Shocker... I am currently without Internet and the WhatsApp line is not available

Which provider are you on? If it's Openserve, you can just switch credentials.

Otherwise, please also try to activate with activate.afrihost.com - should work if the line has moved over to us.

Switching from CISP today. Just chucked in my new PPPOE logins and got connected pretty much right away. But still my old 20 meg speeds (instead of 100). Probably a matter of the line still being processed?

We can't submit the package change until the line migration order is complete - so we'll need to give it a little more time. Openserve only allow one "action" at a time.

As expected it's a complete balls up. Can't add afrihost package to vumatel. "Technicians are looking into it." Wish I hadn't moved to Afrihost @AfriMan @AfriFella

I'm really sorry that we haven't got this right for you. We'll definitely need to make this right.

Have you tried the activation on activate.afrihost.com?

CISP released my line midnight and I tried WatsApp support to get me connected. Was instructed to wait until 12:00 to test. Now I seem to be connected but when navigating to a website I get "You have used up all the data on your connectivity account!".

Clientzone still shows order as pending and Vumatel shows "[BASE-FTTH-1000-100]". WatsApp support shows as online on the website but when sending a WatsApp it says the team is offline.

Wife and tenants are now pissed at me for taking away perfectly working internet on a weekend and seems I am going to miss the F1.

I'm moving over a vuma line.
I had to call in to your customer service. They told me nothing has been done at all. They have to put in a manual order and then wait to hear from Vumatel tomorrow.

I specifically called you guys during the week and got confirmation that all is in order. What a let down.

I also moved over my business, so not sure what to do from 8am tomorrow. Is there a way I can escalate for an urgent migration?

I even tried calling vuma directly and they told me the configuration guys are off today :(

Really not cool.

Did you activate it?

I'm still without internet. 5 days and counting

Yeah something is wrong with your line if it's taking this long. Did you restart ONT? LAN1 light still just coming on briefly then going off again? Migration from the holding pool takes just a few minutes up to a couple of hours at most even over weekends as the migration is automatic once an order has been placed so if it's not working something is obviously wrong for it to take this long.

It's activated now. Thanks. Internet connected!

Thanks Bonolo N. on WatsApp support that got me connected.

Yeah line is suspended or cancelled if it's like that. Even in cancelled state it should not be an issue to migrate it.

So after a bunch of WhatsApps with AH support, I've now been told that my OpenServe migrate-in request never succeeded (despite being told that it did succeeded) - very strange but maybe this is a result of AH's API failures that were mentioned?

Sorry about this - I've asked the guys to urgently call you and try to get to the bottom of this. Just hoping that the line can move over to us so we can also log an escalation with Openserve on your behalf :(

Definitely not cool- especially to be stressing about your business.

Drop me a PM with the details, I'll make sure we attend to this urgently :(

We might have been referring to the migration order being placed successfully. It's unusual for that to fail if the order could be placed - I'd have to have a look on our side :(

Can you please drop me a PM?

Can my line also please be migrated now ASAP... as promised...
