Now apparently FibreOps isn't working today. @AfriFella said they would be! What a joke...

Strange I just used the WhatsApp line earlier?I called customer service last week. Happy assisted me and assured me that as soon as Vox let go of the line, Afrihost will take it over. I confirmed with him that I will be active on the 1st and he confirmed back.
Shocker... I am currently without Internet and the WhatsApp line is not available

Hey, I seem to be on the same boat. Have you tried activating yet with AH?Internet still up here too.... touch wood..
@AfriMan, @AfriFella - You can take my line now... please be quick about it... I just don't know if it's actually released now or not.
EDIT: Just logged into CISP and it seems my service still shows active with them, so I don't know. Knew this would happen. They better have released my line...
Thanks
Does anyone know what the terms are regarding upgrade/downgrades during the free 3 months after migration?
For example, if the first three months are free, would one be able to switch to the 200/100 (open serve) and then back down to something cheaper when they actually have to start paying. I'm sure other evil geniuses have brought this up before but I can't seem to find any clear information on this anywhere (their sales team gave me a very vague generic answer haha)
Nice! @AfriMan so it's cool/wont cost more if I move over to a 200 and then back down to a 100 before the 23rd of my third month (November)? That's exactly what I've done, and AfriMan confirmed it was fine.
Indeed! It was very quick to resolve once I got hold of the right person. The first support person assured me it was a faulty LAN cable :|
Oh and my line was in the holding pool for 29 days ... so a little over 3-5 days is possible![]()
I was promised it would be working today as that was the 48 hour period, now they give me some bullshit about it being 48 working hours and that I'll only be connected next week
Lies upon lies
What the actual fsck Afrihost?
@AfriMan your support staff don't know their arse from their elbow

@AfriMan @AfriFella
So today my line is being released by Cool Ideas.
Today is Saturday.
I was told my WhatsApp support staffmember, Ntombi H, that I might be without internet for a few days.
Tomorrow is Sunday. Is there any way we can have internet at least by Monday, since my wife is dependent on it as she works from home?
Also, am I still getting my free months since I had to wait this whole month for Cool Ideas to release my line?
No Afrihost internet all over SA looks like.
I'm I the only one that is sitting with internet still???? even though I was told by cisp that my line will be released at midnight on Saturday night
Can we not activate afrihost today?
That D-Link router supplied by AH has very erratic wireless connectivity. And as far as I can see, it's running the latest firmware.
Could I get another router and use that instead? I ask as I seem to remember reading somewhere that when it comes to Vumatel, if you change the router you first need to get support to release the "lock".
