@AfriMan @AfriFella

So today my line is being released by Cool Ideas.
Today is Saturday.

I was told my WhatsApp support staffmember, Ntombi H, that I might be without internet for a few days.
Tomorrow is Sunday. Is there any way we can have internet at least by Monday, since my wife is dependent on it as she works from home?

Also, am I still getting my free months since I had to wait this whole month for Cool Ideas to release my line?
Yeah - I'm in the same boat - last day with CISP, although i've been using AH now for 1/2 month anyway - lets see how this goes. I foresee a stuff up of note going on some of the other's experience, so I'm bracing myself for no internet anyway . . . .

I'm I the only one that is sitting with internet still???? even though I was told by cisp that my line will be released at midnight on Saturday night

I was "released" by WA last night as well, but internet still running. Not going to say anything before tomorrow morning.

Internet still up here too.... touch wood..

@AfriMan, @AfriFella - You can take my line now... please be quick about it... I just don't know if it's actually released now or not.

EDIT: Just logged into CISP and it seems my service still shows active with them, so I don't know. Knew this would happen. They better have released my line...

Thanks

As expected it's a complete balls up. Can't add afrihost package to vumatel. "Technicians are looking into it." Wish I hadn't moved to Afrihost @AfriMan @AfriFella

Switching from CISP today. Just chucked in my new PPPOE logins and got connected pretty much right away. But still my old 20 meg speeds (instead of 100). Probably a matter of the line still being processed?

I would still drop them a whatsapp with the B number just confirm they grabbed the line from the holding pool. Their API has been failing to migrate lines lately.

If they did migrate it then they need to place an upgrade order for the speed increase. It can't happen the same time though so migration order needs to be completed. Once that is done upgrade order. Should not take more than 2 days to have both done.

Thanks! Yeah been chatting with Germaine H on WA who's been super helpful so far, much better than wating over the phone and getting airtime chowed. Doubled checked that B-no and it's (luckily) the right one.

Welcome to the Pure fibre family :)

Power in the area was off for 5 hours last night, this morning only on my phones was it asking me to activate my fibre by using my cellphone number yet on the laptop it was working just fine.

Edit, ran a speedtest and I'm only getting 3-4meg down and up. Sumting wrong.
