Yep, same. I hope there is a firmware update or something to fix this
Same for me. Downgrading firmware does not fix it though. Downgraded 2 versions but still the same.

Lol. If done incorrectly, you can be without internet for weeks....Migration did not go through. You line is suspended in the holding pool. Afrihost needs to place a manual migration order to fix this. Be specific and force them to place a migration order. If done correctly a migration can happen within a few minutes and you are back online.

Yes. We've tried this 4 times. If critical care can't be bothered, I'll find an ISP who will.Yeah but usually happens if there is something wrong with the line. Mine took like 2 hours and it worked again on a Friday night so the migration is automatic. Just leave the ONT on and if Afrihost places the manual migration order and get an order number it should happen pretty quickly.

Still on 100 - but do you know what - don't worry about it anymore. I'll just stick to my 100.Looks like we've managed to get the order through, hoping that tomorrow we'll be all good.
Sorry about the delays.

Ja nee seemed like a good idea on paper, but terrible performance.
My Pixel 3a takes forever to connect to it, sometimes I need to manually connect to the 5Ghz and then only can I switch over to the 2.4Ghz. Streaming via Chromecast is a mess. Line was down to under 1 Mbps this am, had to reset router to fix.
Think the old TP-Link will be re-installed when I get some time.
Thanks, will have a look.I'll just leave this here...

Note - installing a custom firmware may void warrantees, and make your ISP upset (i don't know)...

@AfriMan My connection between the ONT and my router just died. I tried 3 different cables and even a backup router but the connection between then shows disconnected with everything I try.
Tried different ports also on the ONT but nothing. Not sure what happened but my router logs shows disconnect just before 16:00.
Not sure if the line transfer got muddled and now Telkom has disabled my ONT. Will PM you now.
Well I'm still waiting. 48 hours has come and gone. Now it truly is enough, I'll find an ISP to get the job done.
I'm getting similar issues with the dlink one from afrihost, the DIR-825ACG1. The wifi is buggered on it, you have to restart it every couple hours.
Thanks for the confirmation, was also thinking that the migration didn't go through.
Logged the issue with support and log was opened with Openserve so will see how long it takes.
Hopefully when @AfriMan gets online later he'll be able to expiate this and get met online ASAP.
Don't hope this happens, not going to be a happy camper if it does.
But then again Afrihost is 300m down the road from the office so never know what I might do on Monday with the "emotional stress" of not having internet over a weekend![]()
@Afrihost-Gian Despite all the comments about the service, I took a chance on Pure Fibre, in-spite of my current ISP offering me the same deal. I already regret making the move. My Fibre line has been suspended. The Afrihost support consultants says I should speak to Openserve, and Openserve refers me to my ISP. There is an entry on my invoice that says the line was moved to Afrihost. According to the support consultant, it is just a data contract.
Still on 100 - but do you know what - don't worry about it anymore. I'll just stick to my 100.
@AfriMan...what's this?

Edit... i see I'm on 200 now, but i should not get charged. Will it be refunded?
