It really is too late. Another ISP has had my FSAN provisioned and activated the service within 4 hours

I've cancelled my order.

@AfriMan I want to stress this... because I honestly had trusted and had faith in you guys. I gave AH multiple chances.... But honestly, when another ISP gets something right in a couple hours when AH failed for almost 2 weeks, you have to acknowledge there's an issue.

Nonetheless, I wish you luck in resolving these issues.

Which ISP did you go with out of interest?
 
Let me check what that was for. If it was for the upgrade, I'll get it refunded ASAP.

I totally respect your decision - you gave us a chance and we let you down.

I see there was a firmware update when i logged in to the router now, lets see if it helps, version 3.0.6 now.

@JustinB Seem you where right. My issue has been escalated to the fibre ops department, but nothing has come of it. Whatsapp support just keeps telling me the same as when calling: keep waiting as the fibre ops team is not contactable for updates so you will get feedback when they have finished with the issue.

So I'm without Internet for the weekend @AfriMan as it seems it's not a 2 minute job to take a line out of the holding pool

Any news on the eu routing optimization? I realize that the VPN im using is unstable for some reason on apex legends, so im playing without it now and its not great. I'm getting 200ms on AH vs the 155-160ms i should be getting. Considering getting a cheap capped account from vox just so i can play apex with lower ping.

I am also anxiously waiting for and answer on this! I am currently using wtfast as a temporary workaround to force an uk connection. I get +- 163 ping(From pretoria) to wtfast UK15 server. My pings are much lower using this than afrihost's default routes for overwatch. You can try them out for a month free and see if it works for you.

I also tried the vpn option and i got the lowest ping with that but like you said in your post the connection has loss on it so its not good for gaming :(

I cant use a spare data only account for gaming since i am on frogfoot. Its not a great option to use a 3rd party app to get better ping. But paying $10 for wtfast is my only option currently besides moving to a different ISP.

@AfriMan I have no internet again since yesterday - Migration has still not completed

What is going on here? If you guys cannot even get a migration right then I think I need to find a new ISP

We have been looking at optimizing wherever we can - our network team were working on this all of last week.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I promise we are taking this seriously, but there are no quick solutions. The differences are so minimal that it's difficult to convince our upstream providers that the change in experience is significant. We are still engaging them on this.
