I was still browsing and suddenly my internet went down. Logged into the router and it is complaining about the username and password. I am on openserve in PE. Can any rep please help me?
I have never experienced such service from AFRIHOST THE WORST i have ever faced. So many time my issue was esculated (EXCUSES) to Mitchell's Fibre and nothing has been done to my newly installed line. I have been waiting 3 whole days for them to tell me that my fibre line needs to provisioned and up till now i have had no call or email asking what is wrong or even any technical support regarding my issue. I seriously think that AFRIHOST needs to start getting their priories straight and catch awake up because i am planning on speaking with the Ombusman regarding their false advertising and poor and negligent regard for satisfying first time or their existing customers. It was told to me that it would be a quick and easy process, but the trouble that i have getting my fibre line to work was nothing but the worst experience i have ever experienced in my entire life. Will never recommend AFRIHOST To none of my friends and family.

Definitely seems to be a known issue. I'll post more information as soon as I get it.
I am horrified at afrihost support. Why do I have to come to the forum to find this out. I've been in contact with support since around 20h00 and their solution (10 mins ago) is to make me do a speedtest on speedtest.net when my complaint is that my fibre (in PE) is not working since I got home. Can support staff not just be honest

Good morning....an update for all...let "round 23" begin......still not sorted since Wednesday last week. Only from Monday morning since I first posted did I get attention..... yuuup!!!
I don't think it's that they are dishonest at all - just think we have to ensure that we have confirmed information from the provider before we can update our website and tell clients this is an outage. We have been in trouble with providers for jumping the gun in that regard. We prefer to let clients know as early as possible, but some providers may want the opportunity to investigate and confirm first.
But as far as our team goes, I am pretty confident it's maybe just not being able to share that information until our NOC confirm that the outage has been acknowledged by the provider.
Thanks for the update.
You are definitely 100% correct with the above and I cant argue with those facts. I can also respect that everyone has to make sure the information is correct and verified.
Maybe dishonest wasn't the right word, but I'm cringing that at the part where I was requested to do a "speedtest" following the note that I was not able to connect to the internet. (This was the 3rd communication - the first was to reset devices - which I did and was fair. The second communication was to ping example.com which I did and was not able to connect nor ping using cmd. Then the third was a speedtest)![]()
@AfriMan Just an update on the issue i was having with apex legends and timing out. I tried running the game on two systems in the same game and my one dcd while the other one didn't so it appears to be some sort of software or my pc specific related issue.
Were there any differences in the systems you were running?
