I get 30ms to CSGO servers on Fibre. And 35 on VDSL

Honestly don't know what I was expecting moving to Fibre but thought it would have been better...

That sounds like poor routing/congestion from CPT to JHB I get like 17 to 20ms. I get 17ms in Dota 2 as well

Ah PE generally routes via CPT for most networks thats probably why difference is low. For CPT difference because of fibre is noticeable

Latency was > 210ms to EU from Cape Town for a good hour this morning (may have been longer, I only noticed it then) - but appears to be back to normal now.

Yeah, I think the guys are probably testing to see how they can optimise.

Sounds like it might be the server itself. In that case, a different line is not going to make much difference. Local latencies are generally pretty excellent.

I'm pretty sure that won't have any effect on your gaming experience.

My line finally got connected today and I'm happy as a pig in ****. I can only afford the 10 Meg line, but so far it's been awesome. 170ms ping to Apex servers and I can steam showmax and amazon over the wifi without any issues. Even the hdr content streams without any hiccups. Yay.

Had the Vuma 1/100. Can say that 1GB down is a fantastic experience.

Latency seems pretty normal. Averaging around 185ms to same IP.
