Anyone know if/how/cost of moving the ONT within my house? It's downstairs and currently have a cable run along the roof and missus is not a fan... Should've been here when they installed :/ This is on Openserve btw

Ordered 50mb Pure Fibre yesterday afternoon. Contractors were here at 8AM and finished installing by 11AM. First time I have ever seen a fibre install ordered and installed so quickly.

How does one get less than 30ms ping on Fibre? My 20mb VDSL was giving better results.

Well install was good but not happy with the product currently. should have stuck with VDSL. Even my Teams meetings with clients are horrible now. Had a much better internet experience on the VDSL.

Interesting.. I went from 40Mb VDSL to 100/50 fibre and was really happy with that. Although I never had issues with the VDSL line either, close to the DSLAM, so full speeds and good SNR ratios, etc. That was before the time of Teams , etc

Even getting jitter.
I'm sure you are going to get sorted once we have the replacement router.
I get same issue with zoom and some nights with gaming
yup.
I see some peeps get 1ms ping to their router. i normally get 5ms
wonder if router will change all this

Been struggling to stream in the evenings. Tonight especially. After load shedding started at 9pm latency and jitter back to normal after all the users without battery stopped using the internet. I am on SADV/vumatel in East London, can you please check if capacity here is problematic in the evening
