Is this Openserve? So will people on 40/20 be upgraded to 50/25 for same price?

For now yes until there is confirmation about anything else.

Remember 40Mbps is currently on 100/50 as the double promo.

Are we going to be upgraded to a 50mbps automatically

The 40Mbps profile got removed. So I suspect when the double speed promos gets reverted by Openserve you will not be moved back to a 40/20 profile but the 50/25 profile. What is your current line speed?

I'm currently on a 20mbps but with double promo I'm it's 40/20 so if I want the 50/25 what price will it be and how do I go about?

Currently it's R120 more. While the pricing on the website remains that is the price that will apply until official notification from us stating otherwise. You might want to hop onto this if the price does change in the future you will have the current pricing for a while.

Yes it's normal. Right now IP address initially meant for Air Mobile has been allocated to fibre clients due to limited availability of IPv4 Addresses. With the boom of Vuma Reach an connections staying online for longer periods of time IPs has become a finite resource so we had to use the Air Mobile ip range.

It's not a different network it's just an IP.

Should move to IPv6

Not everyone is ready for that. The best solution is to introduce a CGN for now something we are trying to avoid.

Agree with the CGN statement, bleh.

someone should have the cahoonas to make ipv6 more mainstream. ive been running it at home now for about 2 months albeit it being a tunnel and honestly i have no complaints it works

On my side on client zone I do not see the 50/25 only 40/20

Yes on our website and clientzone it's still listed as 40/20 but that speed no longer exist it will be replaced by the 50/25 speed.
