There isn't any general issues right now.

Network is performing pretty good all round.

We are seeing clients that had service changes done on Vumatel been given a 172.50 IP and no ISP active on the Object numbers even though the orders has completed. We working with Vumatel to find a solution. Apologies for the downtime to the client affected.

In Gauteng from the tests I did it's faster than cloudflare and google DNS.

So it's okay to change the default DNS that were preconfigured by Afrihost (169.1.1.2, 169.1.1.4)?

We will always recommend our DNS servers as it's something can control but you are free to choose which ever DNS servers you want to use. My personal connection at home I use 9.9.9.9 because it's not only fast but it offers some malware website protection which is pretty cool.

how do I change this on my dlink router as I cannot find any DNS settings on the DIR-825ACG1 router that Afihost provides us with.

Those are the default ones so you don't have to set them up as static DNS servers.
