@AfriNatic Best case scenario , i get my modem today, Im still live on LTE though.

Can you walk me through the implications. if i cancel today, will i be billed again end of the month? or will i not be :) those kinda deetz

I assume once full decommissioned (cancel period) the sim will no longer work?

Yes so you cancel LTE in clientzone and you won't be billed again for it and it will be cancelled month end.

For the FrogFoot line you can activate the line via login.afrihost.com and that will activate the fibre line :)

Ohh no. Did you manage to get hold of them? If you want to use the fibre line today you can use your LTE router while you wait for DawnWing to deliver the fibre router.

Spoke to someone, but its 3pm, still heard nothing. Kinda annoying considering I havent even heard from the driver to begin with, I just had to check the waybill to actually know they messed up (they blamed afrihost tho)

@AfriNatic I just want to know if there is problems with Openserve in Menlo Park or Pretoria East area, because everything is fine, but I have extreme amounts of Jitter where my ping in games goes from 170 to 240 then back to 170 then back to 240 the entire time, I tried different games and still have the same issue

I don't see any issues. I work from home using my Openserve connection and I ran a MTR now and I don't see the same spikes. Nothing maybe using your line for uploading that is causing the jitter?

Hmm.. I will disconnect every other device and see if it fixes the issue, everything is still fine like browsing, watching YouTube, just games that are a bit annoying

I disconnected everyone and the line went stable again, sorry for the inconvenience looks like something on the home network is doing something will look into it.

Thanks again

Okay cool. No problem. Jitter like that means you are likely using data on something and the packets wait their turn.

@AfriNatic if I upgrade my openserve 50/25 (now 100/50 on promo) to 100/50 will it give me 200/100 until Jan?

Did you already take the double speed promo? If you did the promo discount that you opt for will carry through with you when you upgrade.

Let's say you took the promo from 20 to 100. The price difference is R120 and the discount is applied for R120. If you now upgrade to 100Mbps you won't get another double speed promo option the system will regrade you to 100 and keep your current discount which is R120 so you will pay the fee 100Mbps less the R120 discount.

The same will apply if you regrade to 200Mbps the system will charge you the fee for 200Mbps less the R120 discount.

For you to have gotten the discount you should have been on 100Mbps before taking the free double speed promo.
