It’s 2021, but telco providers can still go >24 hours without service and face zero repercussions.

I’ve had less load-shedding this year than the cluster-cuss that is FF & Afrihost…

Problem is when the FNO doesn't come to the party, it's not really the fault of the ISP. My AH/OS combo never had issues. It's FF that's screwing around

Update on FrogFoot issue.

FrogFoot with the Vendor has identified the issue with an Aggregation Switch that is faulty. The new switch was installed recently.

A temporary fix has been applied while the Vendor assists with a permanent solution.

Apologies for the all the issues experienced.

So if one switch goes belly up, the whole country goes down. Is there any redundancy ?

lucky luke ... we go via Joburg first for some reason.

BTW that is a gaming server. I used to get under 200ms on a 4mbps ADSL line from VOX.

Is anyone in KZN still having Frogfoot issues? The service light on my parents ont is off. I'm assuming it's because there are still Frogfoot issues

Service light off means provisioning issue usually.
