Hi @AfriNaticCan you do continuous pings to the gateway and see if you get any losses.
What is the Gateway IP?

2021-06-11 10:34:09 kernel: Link State: Ethernet link down.
2021-06-11 10:34:09 kernel: Link State: PVC_100 PPPoE down.
2021-06-11 10:34:13 kernel: Link State: Ethernet link up.
2021-06-11 10:34:13 WAN Connection: WAN was exceptionally disconnected.

I have a question, but I suspect my router or the ONT may be at fault here. I can go a couple of weeks without troubles, but out of the blue, my fibre drops in a sense about twice or three times a day. When I log into the router, it still reports as connected, but there is no WAN IP:
So it would show this exactly the same as it is, but the WAN IP would just be "0":

The solution has always been a restart of the router, or I can disconnect and reconnect via the UI (but that is quite painful because Asus didn't design the UI with speed in mind). The trend I am seeing in the logs is this:
The logs tell me a hardware or cable fault on my end, yet the weeks of it being fine followed by it going through a patch of it dying 3 times a day or so is just odd. I'm sure I've also tried a different cable - haven't tried a different router though. What is also frustrating is that the link comes back up, but the WAN nopes out and doesn't attempt reconnecting.
Can anyone think of a setting I may be missing or something? I thought of perhaps increasing max failures - assuming it is retrying in the background and just not logging it:

I have just had this exact problem. Woke up to my router just not getting an WAN IP from the CPE. Tried unplugging and plugging the WAN cable in and for a brief moment the interface shows 0.0.0.0 before going to n/a (pfSense). I could still see about 2kb/s of constant traffic coming IN to the WAN, but nothing going out. Rebooting the pfSense box did not help. It wasn't until I rebooted the CPE that the WAN interface for a valid IP address and started working.I have a question, but I suspect my router or the ONT may be at fault here. Download speed on my Openserve 100Mbps line is struggling tonight in PE
Morning,
Are you still experiencing issues?
Morning, yes there still seems to be a problem. Highest download speed I hit this morning was 44. Upload is still fine.
Just tested now and it seems to be resolved. Not sure what happened but will message back if I see it dip again.
@AfriNatic
What is going on with AH again? Been totally down since yesterday. My Daughter cannot attend online classes and mobile data is expensive. Burning through around 1GB per hour for online classes.

Are you on CG-NAT or a public IP ? Seen this on WISP's using CG-NAT before

This why we can't upload or download correctly from almost anything? Nice. You can redial the pppoe session. That IP might have been spamming. Cloudflare listings can't be removed as they are time based.
