Upgraded this morning just after 06:00 to 500, just waiting for everything to happen,
How are the speed tests looking today? I know some of you had some issues last night. What was the root cause? Browsers?
once I am up I can run a few tests directly from my router and report the findings if you are still interested.
So here there is now browser or windows os involved.

All test done over Ethernet. (Hardwired )
Test from linux device (Asus RT-AC5300)

Do you have any QoS enabled on the router?

No issues during power outages... Experienced a 7 hour outage a few months ago between 9am and 4pm.. stayed on the whole time.. We have solar + backup batteries to keep the house functioning.

Nope. But im busy going through everything.
If all else fails I'll reset and reconfigure and see how it goes
Does anyone know why my speeds would decrease every few days? I need to constantly reset my Afrihost supplied router (HUAWEI WiFi WS5200) or my internet becomes unusable (1mbps).

Have you tired using another router?
I only have this and a Huawei B618-48FF. Would this work?
If it's a router issue, I don't mind returning the router and just getting a better one.
I have noticed the B618 on Ethernet Wan doesn't perform so well.
You using Ethernet and not wifi right?
