In terms of alternatives I believe Vodacom fibre is also rolled out in Richards Bay not sure if they are rolled out in your complex or just the free standing houses.

I got another SMS this morning saying frogfoot is attending to an issue in my area. Is this a new fault today?

We are investigating reports of slow access and no connection.

We are still logging faults if clients are experiencing issues.

Has your connection returned to normal?
 
This morning before I left for work it was seeming normal.
Im not sure if its slow/dead at the moment
 
Ok with RSAweb clearly not having a decent backup infrastructure what is the procedure of porting from them to Afrihost on the Octotel backbone?

Ideally it would be best to RSAWeb the notice of cancellation and with Octotel the migration is approved as soon as the previous ISP loaded the cancellation.

Once you are ready to migrate to us signup for a migration and we can get the process started.

I do hope this is the issue and not something else. Sent you an image of the ONT. Is this the older type? Heard certain ONT models had issues.20200207_175750.jpg

Frogfoot uses that ONT and the Calix brand so I won't say it's old. I think let's see if FF can get it swapped and then take it from there.
