Okay this might be an issue with the number or sim. You can give MTN a call to see if they can assist by enabling 5G.
5G 100% works on our afrihost APN and it's not a setting we can control that is rather a coverage, sim, number issue rather than an APN issue.

Ah, so I might need a newer SIM card then? I think this one is about 4 years old now.
It might be a sim issue but would be better to give MTN a call just to confirm. They will be able to tell you. It might be something simple as just them loading the 5G service for you for it to work.

I've been having some intermitted issues with Afrihost on OpenServe since yesterday. Seems like there is some packet loss on the network which then drops steaming connections and other packets. Seems to occur a bit eratically.
Have anyone else been having some open serve issues recently?

Will try and get one. At the moment the sites which had an issue yesterday is not giving me an issue now.
Still having some intermittent issues with DSTV Now streaming. Will check if I can find the IP for that.
Okay perfect.
We have our own on network Akamai caches for DSTV and content served from Akamai to reduce any issues clients might face.
You can install a browser plugin called IPvFoo and then start a stream to view the IP address or open the resource manager to grab the IP you are getting content from.

Had similar streaming issues wirh low download speeds yest morning. Restarted ONT and router. All sorted after.

Internet down again. First time today so a bit better than yesterday
We are currently in a group chat with everyone invoved trying to see what is causing the issues and where there broadcast storm is coming from.
Is it possible for you to install wireshark and run it while you are experiencing issues?
Similar issues from yesterday also on Openserve in Centurion. Tried restarting router and ont. Seems a bit better today. The first two traceroutes are from yesterday.
