Zoom is killing me today. Video is basically broken, just screenshots of other participants that refreshes like once a minute. Speed tests look pretty normal. I wonder if this is Afrihost or Zoom acting up.

It seems afrihost has changed something in these two days which is causing major buffering issues. i use a vpn to the usa and have tried many location in the usa. i stream disney +, HBO max , peacock and discovery + basicaly all my international streaming services are buffering every 1 minute. i have never had this before during this year. i can confirm i have trouble shooting already and it seems either you have a bandwidth constraints , routing or something has changed at afrihost. by the way at least once or twice a year i have this issue.

Hi,

I haven't seen any complaints about Zoom being slow or having an issue.

Did you try to see if it's still slow on a mobile connection?

If a fibre line has loss it might also cause what you are experiencing.

Hi,

We added new capacity from another vendor on Sunday night. This was to increase capacity and it shouldnt have caused any issues for you.

Can you do a trace route to the VPN server in question and see if there is any issues?

Not directly fibre related, but your Pure LTE Uncapped offer with MTN. Is the limit on that 1TB or 2TB? On the website it says 1TB, but the order confirmation email said it was 2000GB.

Can you forward me the mail so I can ask Dev to correct that email?

There can be a number of reasons fot this.

Does the speed stay slow to other servers also when doing the single thread speedtest?

Thanks. Mine too but my speeds seem to have dropped with it. Picking up 60Mbps on a 100/100 line with mitsol. Weird

The graph is returing to normal now so I expect the speeds to return to normal as well. Can you keep checking and if not let me know.
