so I can apply in the clientzone for the new installation for openserve and cancel vumatel in the same time?

Yes you can.

Please make sure to cancel the Vumatel line before the 22nd. I would suggest doing that before placing the order for the Openserve line.

Our system will automatically place an order with Openserve for the new install and that should move to scheduling which means you can arrange a date closer to the time the Vumatel line cancels at the end of the month to avoid having to pay a bit extra pro rata for the Openserve line.

that is good, thank you. a new installation for openserve is about 3 weeks time, am I right? and if the complex is already vumatel, can I install openserve for myself only? or the whole complex must change to openserve before I can install?

Depending the type of install (trenched vs Aerial) and the area it can vary from next day to 3 weeks.

the installed vumatel is aerial, so is that fine?

I was referring to Openserve. They usually to Aerial fibre from telephone poles but in some areas the fibre is trenched and they would need to trench to the property to install. If the fibre comes from the telephone poles at the back installation is quick. If you reside in the cities the scheduling dates usually range from same day to a few days after the order.

ok, thanks.

have not used torrent in yonks... does Afrihost throttle them? Content has enough seeds not to be an issue...but speed is slow.

We do not throttle at all.

Make sure the port is forwarded correctly in the router. Make sure that the disk is not being over worked with the number of random reads and writes. Increase the cache value to improve speeds.

This is why I use real debrid to download torrents as I don't normally download torrents direct but rather seed it first then download as http which is always full speed as torrents are very lucky packet as I'm discovering now trying to test for you with army of the dead on a 50mb line:

and yet with RD:
