No, Speed promotion was for existing clients during that time it was announced. We then had Price Changes for Vumatel. The new pricing was only applicable to New Signups and was not carried over to existing clients, this is because existing Vuma clients we getting FREE speed upgrades.View attachment 1387648
I just checked my invoice for October to see that it is for R729.00. So I should have a 50mbps down speed, but when running a speed test last night I was still on a 20mbps down speed. When would the permanent speed upgrade be done?

Hi, please share your email address or account number on PM

Definitely could have and it's something we need to look at.

Really sorry for this.

Clients on the legacy 20Mbps package can upgrade to the 50/50 now and only pay R1 pro rata and only R2 per month extra for the 50/50

If clients wish to stay on 20Mbps these clients will be invoiced R649 from October essentially giving the 20Mbps a monthly saving each month.

Our intention was to save clients some money monthly rather than forcing them to use 50Mbps at a higher price if they don't require a faster speed and we had to do these changes before billing run starts on the 23rd of September.

Apologies for the inconvenience these changes caused.
I still got billed R727 even though I am on the 20/10 package and I am only getting 20Mbps right now. I was told I would only be charged R649 for October going forward

Can you send your email or account info to @Afrigirl l and she will have a look for you.

Morning. I am on Vuma 1000/200 at 1499 p/m. I want to change to the 500/200 at 1199 p/m but that option is not available in the clientzone. How do i go about making the change without downtime? Thanks

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to get an RFO for the vumatel outage in midrand?
Internet went off as soon as my loadshedding ended

We're switching over from RSAWeb to Afrihost on Octotel starting tomorrow - is there anything I need to do on the gateway, or does it stay DHCP and everything should happen automatically?

Hi, yes, it will remain DHCP. Please send me a PM with your Account number so I can confirm the order status.

Sorry, was away from home yesterday, it was up briefly this morning - died - and after restarting everything it seems we're back up on Afrihost.

Is there anything that would be restricting me from connecting to my network on the Afrihost side?

I usually VPN in to connect to our alarm, etc - but the traffic doesn't seem to hit my external IP.
