This was a debit card swipe that took that money. No idea how the lady messed it up but it was a bitch to get back.

Wow, an extra 0 can hurt sometimes. I remember paying R 1 000 for a R 100 item once. Saw it and had it refunded luckily. If I hadnt checked the slip though...
 
If i wanted to bundle my line and account do i have to wait for it to get switched or is there a way to do it all at once.

Yes, you'll have to wait for the line if you want to bundle your account.
 
For interest sake, Afrihost I don't think your ADSL leader board works that well!

My 10Mbps business account is - 1.120 TB

and I'm not on the leaderboard

Look into this for you and get back to you. That is rather impressive. What's the secret?
 
So now that Afrihost is giving me the speeds I've wanted I've gone and decided to buy a new house. Was so sad to hit the unbundle and cancel this evening :(

Hope to be back on AH next year after cash flow recovers.

I applied for my Telkom Landline today. Once that's sorted, I can ask Afrihost to apply for my line to be "ADSL-er-ized" right (bundled).

Anyone having trouble logging into clientzone?? ive been trying for the past hour and a half.

It gets stuck at the circular loading bar once i clicked 'login'
 
Something was definitely wrong with my previous router as my connection doesn't seem to be getting worse any more. Play Store downloads still crawl and Youtube still sucks though.

Mine logs in just fine. I'm using Firefox.
 
Did you get more info from Telkom on this matter??

Just saw this on Afrihost's FB page

"We are experiencing problems authenticating new ADSL sessions. Engineers are working on this urgently & we apologise for the inconvenience"

So I am wondering, what work-around will be used this week for the authentication issues experienced *shrug*

We are currently experiencing an authentication issue on our network. We apologise. MTN is currently working on resolving the issue.

Will you guys be implementing yet another work-around this time?? How many work-arounds can you actually implement before you have a stable radius environment?

Or will Telkom get the blame again for only causing authentication issues to Afrihost??

The issue has been resolved. At the moment, we aren't sure what caused the issue but all has been resolved. We apologise for the inconvenience.
