So, I'm curious.
Currently on Afrihost 1Mbps Uncapped. Haven't really had any problems with them, only some exchange problems sorted through Telkom, although for some reason video streaming doesn't look prioritised.
Example: On AH uncapped account trying to stream video is impossible without waiting an hour for a 30min video to buffer ahead, but when i connect on my 1GB capped account for the same video, buffering is almost non-existent and the video is ready after about 5-10sec of quick buffering.
I see OpenWeb's Gamer King 1Mbps Uncapped account.
Firstly, it is almost R30 cheaper p/m than Afrihost (which would suit me as I've lost my income for the time being).
They say gaming is specifically prioritised, would pings actually be lower than on AH? I get on average 220ms to EU servers.
How's browsing?
Does the shaping work the same as on AH and how bad is it?
So... getting to a point, I would like some opinions please.
As I said, I'm quite happy with Afrihost (being a fanboi and all), but I'm wondering if the OW grass could be greener.
Please give some opinions regarding OW Gamers King. People who have tried both's opinions would be best.
