Normally the connection fee is added to the rates bill. I would query that. The 1st block of 600kWh should cost about R1851 including VAT.They do so it's probably that that's taken off the first purchase for the month.

I have a rental property with a prepaid meter and the connection fee has never been on the rates bill for that property.Normally the connection fee is added to the rates bill. I would query that. The 1st block of 600kWh should cost about R1851 including VAT.
It looks like a footnote right at the end of the bill.I have a rental property with a prepaid meter and the connection fee has never been on the rates bill for that property.
I'll check next month when buying again.
Very weird.Nothing unless it's related to the property value and there's no connection charge on my rental property.
Yep, prepaid.Is that on prepaid?
They'll probably get in easily and then be too stupid to find a way outLets see if this works, if they're motivated enough they'll still get under the damn panels.

Yes! Happens to me for a day or three (not always in a row) every couple of weeks. Just as I start to relax assuming it was a once off, it happens again. 4 days messed up in July.Anybody else's Sunsynk inverter stats 'reset' on their inverter, phone app and web portal? Mine was going fine and then reset earlier today but only for stats for today...
P.S. I am still missing large amounts of data due to the region move though![]()
Also noticed one of the cables running from the second set of panels just lying bare on the roof - so probably need to wrap it in a conduit somehow, I guess it doesn't matter what you pay, the guys will do a shitty job.

I have the same in places. Need to put them into conduit like you - cut flexible conduit will be fine.So this is what I mean - spot the lone red cable - no idea why its not in the conduit - I suspect these guys strung everything up then realised they forgot the one cable - so left it.
Going to do a cheapy for now and buy PVC flexible tubing and cut it down the center, and then put the cable inside.

That netting looks good - hopefully solves it!Pigeons started nesting under the panels - I keep chasing them away and sweaping out the nests - but - with all the cabling underneath, its a disaster coming.

Reminds me I need to go and give the panels a wash soon - so much dust everywhere I have no doubt they're coated in a layer of dust.
Anyone figured out the best way to clean your panels yet?
I'm just take the hose and washing them down - then using a soft cloth to clean out any bird ... strikes
