All batteries have a max discharge current, the only question being what their max is. Most residential lithium batteries are either 0.5C or 1C, with some rated at 1.5C.Is the max discharge applicable to most 5kW batteries or only some ?

So from not working last night, now this morning I just got a disconnect notification for my house and folks house next door at the start of loadshedding 9am.Morning. Anyone manage to get Sunsynk notifications working again after moving to Region 2?

It depends on how the manufacturer has tweaked the BMS, and what warranty objectives they have. Higher discharge and charge rates generally lead to faster degradation (less usable cycles), so many are very cautious.

Looks like the web interface isn't showing the months correctly on Region 2, when selecting Year. Works in the app.
They also didn't bring the days detail of the history over. Checking the graph of a specific day only works for December.
Definitely not a bad idea, just need to lookout for battery bms versions etc. You may need to update the older one to make it current.I'm thinking of getting another battery for my sunsynk invert, current hubble 5.5kw has been doing well, the majority of the time reaching 60% on 'heavy' use days (normal days see it drop to 78% per loadshedding). But I was wondering, is it a kak Idea to buy another battery (same model) and connect it up to double the available battery storage, or is there a limitation I will experience or see with the new battery

After the monumental, long awaited and much delayed move to Region 2... I now have some historic data back.
BUT, at first glance I see 2 and 3 Dec all data missing... ?

What batteries are those as I know with pylontech I had to connect the newest one as battery 1.Finally decided to spend the money on the cable and get my batteries connected up to SolarAssistant. Happy to see everything looks to be exactly what I'd expect (the third battery was added months later than the first two).
Super happy that the battery cycles are identical on the first two, the BMS doing its job. It also seems to be, at first glance, prioritising the new battery slightly as it has less cycles - curious to see if this is the case.
