All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

Good day so since this forum has members with panels installed. Any suggestions where to get them at a good price considering panic buying? Also for 5kwa inverter, would is the recommended amount of panels to get on i.e. 455 or 545 and brand?
I agree with @Speedster , they are much of a muchness.
I bought from solarwaysuppliers.co.za and inverter-warehouse.co.za
Solarway suppliers load panels into your vehicle one by one which is tedious. (Not sure if they have improved since last year)
Inverter warehouse straps them to a pallet and uses a forklift to load into your vehicle/trailer.
I loved the speed of inverter-warehouse but I see they are out of stock of all their panels at the moment.
 
Panels (at least Jinko, JA, Canadian) are much of a muchness. I bought from solarwaysuppliers as they were best priced. You need to plan your system so that the panels are within the MPPT limts of 150V-450V. For most panels that would be anywhere between 4 and 10 panels per string - although you'd need to check on the panel specifics.

• 5 x 250W = 1250W

• 4 x 315W = 1260W

• 3 x 375W = 1125W
Suggest having more than 1000W total in case of cloudy or rainy days.

That logic isn't correct.
Are you planning to install yourself? I think you should speak to a knowledgeable installer.

Depending on shading, orientation and such you can work on about 5 peak hours per day. i.e. 100W panel will deliver 500Wh per day. You're looking for 33kWh per day (1000/30), so about 6kWp of panels. You've listed just over 1kWp in your options.

This is an example. We consume on average around 20kw per day.

Firstly, take time to understand the units. The difference between kW and kWh is crucial in your sizing.

20kWh per day is 600kWh per month. You're looking at 4kWp of panels.

No. You will see that your friend has set it up for 5kWp PV. His PV is curretly producing 0/5.
Power being used (367W) is indicated in red, the house icon.
Power is coming from the grid at 3056W.
2427W of this is being used to charge the battery.

The screen is animated to show the flow, that is what you are missing with a screenshot.
