Sorted. I spoke to dhl and they checked and agreed with me (luckily they delivered this morning and only realised after they had made a 'mistake').

I sympathize with you! It's almost NEVER customs. Customs is SARS and SARS is dead efficient!
DHL are complete morons! They once kept a shipment of mine delayed for ONE ENTIRE MONTH! The customs declaration had to be redone about 6 times! At one stage they were telling me they don't know what to do! I nearly blew my lid.

Do Amazon allow you to NOT pay the customs to them ? That would be simpler, then there is nothing to argue about on this side !
You can but I have never had issues with amazon not paying enough they were spot on... makes it much easier as they attach a pre-release form with the shipment which speeds things up...
It should plug out from wall charger and then its a standard Micro USB cable... mine was anyway...
Yeah, assuming nobody screws up on this side !
Just realised thanks.
FYI - iPhone USB charger adaptor does not workit charged mine for 13hrs overnight and it was dead when i turned it on lol.
And I paid R65 for my"usa" adaptor. darn it!
There is a minute difference in voltage i think its like 0.5 and a few miliamps difference.
It boggles the mind as the all these devices charge from a PC and that voltage is constant.
im thinking the amps could have been too high on the iphone's wall charger.
the iphone charger puts out 5V as does a USB port, so something steps it down to 4.9 which would work either way. so i can only imagine amps were wrong, possibly too high since the iphone charger is just that - a charger - to charge a cellphone battery which prob needs higher ma's to charge.
Rapidblue, on next book. tried a free one but its not holding me too well... ill give it some more time.
why would i want to upgrade the firmware? i mean are there known bugs. im too lazy to go look![]()
