AMD unveils new processors

U.S. CPU and chip manufacturer AMD will be unveiling its new processors at CeBIT 2011. These new models are said to outperform the current top models of its Phenom-II series by 50 percent.

The outstanding performance of AMD's Phenom-II multi-core processors makes them ideal for computationally intensive HD entertainment. Another key benefit is that the processors are systematically designed for high energy efficiency.

This probably relates to their new Bulldozer processors. Cebit runs from 1-5 March so we will probably see more in the next few days.
