Android app bargains thread.

AppSales shows everything, just set your filter settings to the lowest denominator. been using that app since forever. every little app shows at some point, you can also view an app's price history and place it on a watchlist

Mouks gets a bag of kudos. That's an absolute gem, had it on my pc years back as a demo, logged out on a timer, downloading now

Though the runner game is great, I was sad to see its not the original pitfall I played on win95 way back when

Pretty good deal. Average is $6.60 now though. How do you update the apps on Android? I assume it doesn't go through the Play Store?

Humble has a Android market app that you use for install's and updates. You can buy indie apps from previous sales with it as well.

I needed a calc with a % sign so I went with RealCalc Plus when it was discounted.

How do you guys get the Amazon app store? I tried and gave up last year. Did everything - and still no luck! Still found out where I was!

I followed the instructions someone posted on the forum
I'm not sure what thread it is in though....

I followed instructions from this link I got from http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...App-for-Free?p=7097982&viewfull=1#post7097982

Only minor things to note. Do not "buy" the apps via the phone, use the website instead, also make sure you download the Amazon App store app without giving your number for the link.

And while we at it, I see Osmos HD is the free app of the day (Very cool game and worth the effort to set up the account)

I would also like to know. I have been "buying" the free apps since I started using the workaround and no problems whatsoever. The only thing I won't do, is use the fake account for actual purchases - that calls for beeeeeeg problems!
