Apple has lost it's innovation

I don't think there are many people who deny any flaws/errors/weaknesses. Understand that the flaws they might see might be different to the flaws you see.
But what if they do? Why is it so offensive to you?
Let them enjoy their bliss. Why do you need to tear that down?

In a way I think he has a point, a lot of people will read forums like these without ever commenting and if the flaws are not pointed out will cause frustration later on when they do buy the products thinking its perfect.

That's actually subjective

In the last few months I've listed a number of issues, like lack of lack of Flash, lack of hotspot, 3G limit, no SMS, weak app store, shoddy camera, download issues and numerous others. Only to be hit 'We don't care!' 'We don't use it!' 'Never experienced it! 'Buy an Android!' 'Silly feature!' 'Use this workaround!' ... there's no sense in him even listing any other product when the reply is very predictable
Does that work the other way?
If one denies ANY flaw/error/weakness - does it point at fanboi?

What do you want us to say?

We offer you solutions, you choose to ignore them.

+1!

Exactly what I did ... everyone says they're the answer to everything and within 3 days I hot the hotspot, Flash and 20MB limit. Another 3 days and I discovered it couldn't download properly from Newstand either.

The replies, in order ... 'who cares?' 'Flash is dead!' 'Use wifi or JB' and 'it's still new and there will be issues'

I'm sorry I don't want to hack my unit to make it work?

My whole life I've been hacking, cracking, flashing and patching things. I'm over it

Read the post.

He says that Apple make fantastic products and to deny is hatedom. I'm simply if asking if it reverses

So why did you get the frigging iPad then if these functions were important to you? I don't understand? You lament people for selling there iPad 2's before they've even seen what the new iPad had to offer yet you go and get an iPad 2 without first confirming that it had all the features you hold so dear.

Each and every one of the weaknesses you've eluded to is well documented so don't take it out on us or Apple or the dog if you believe you didn't get what you paid for.

They do make fantastic products. For a certain type of user/market.
Just like Nokia, Microsoft, etc make fantastic products and denying it is hatedom.

Believing something to be perfect without any flaws is foolish (But once again, also understand that what you perceive to be a flaw, might not be a flaw to others)
But so what if they do? Why tear down their bliss? Let them be (foolish)

And this is your 1st ever Apple product? At least we can't blame Apple for the above then hey??

Anyway I guess you going to spend the rest of your life posting on here about the iPad's 3G limitations then?

Carry on...

Are you upset because I don't jizz in my pants where I hear Apple?
Or is there some other reason?

I can certainly understand that. I used to be a Linux user and contributor. And spent half my life patching, rebuilding and fixing in my personal time. And I got sick of it and bought my first Mac.
Yes, there are certain limitations to enforce a certain user experience. And I can normally understand the reason behind these decisions. But knowing that they are there and why they are there does make for very enjoyable experience (Although other might dislike it for valid reasons)

No, I'm upset cause you jizz in your pants every time you see an opportunity to post about the iPad's 3G limitations :p

Look - I understand the enjoyable part if you have a full Apple infrastructure at home .... so if you've got an iPad, iPhone, iMac, Apple TV, Apple notebook, a library of HD movies in MP4 format, unlimited ADSL and use iCloud. In fact, if I think about the would work, I get goosebumps ...

Then I understand half the limitations wouldn't effect you and everything would be fine and dandy.

But this is the real world, sadly.

.. choose another limitation?

I'm game for posting about any of them ;)

Morning SiriS :P

On a serious note - I heard at the launch you could now create a hotspot. I've downloaded 5.1 and see nothing under settings > wireless ?

That is fair enough. And I do have that setup (And in my circles, so do most of the people I know). But I understand that in a different environment, it might not be a good experience.
But did you not read some reviews if the iPad over the last two years before you bought one? The limitations you mention are all very well known and mentioned in most major reviews.
And having made a mistake, would you rather not just forget the iPad and next time buy a device that better suits your needs? Moaning about Apple's products achieves very little other than bringing the tone down in the discussion.

I bought a VW, which I then realized was a rubbish car ( for me). I will just stick to BWM in the future. I don't go around moaning about VW to people that like them
