Apple iPhones put on hold

Well to be honest, if they DON'T release this way before the end of the year, it will be up against a massive influx of "iphone clones" from the likes of Samsung,HTC which will have MORE features and will be polished to the tee. i.e. like the HTC Touch Pro and Samsung already got a few [F700 & F480] which are quite cheap -already- but can do with another iteration of "ergonomic polish" .

By the end of the year , i'll definitely consider the Iphone as "old stock" and expect it to be free on a weekender otherwise no point in getting it as opposed to a Samsung/HTC/LG/whatever Nokia brings out that obviously already gone through yet another iteration , while the iphone 3g remained the same....

The story is whatever Vodacom tells us at Bedtime... we just have to wait till 22 August or the end of the year or whatever. I think I'll get the N82 thru MTN before the end of this month instead of waiting for the mythical iPhone 3G which may not suit all my needs anyways...
 
N82? I know I used it for 3 months, what a waste cant even remember using it....
 
Honestly, do any of you guys still want this thing? Surely there are far better phones out there.

  • No syncing of Notes and TO-DOs

This not a smartphone and it is not something geeks are going to buy. It is purely for spoilt fanbois. :eek:

so much speculation. they now busy fixing the bugs experienced by those that have taken delivery. so u gonna hav 2 wait a little while longer. so 2 help urselves from being depressed, i say just take it easy. a lot of the questions will only be answered when the phone gets here. might even be the 2010 iphone air...

I have heard most of these problems/issues mentioned elsewhere.

Who is to say they are not correct?

Actually, almost all of his points are valid (some of us do have first hand experience). Yes, the phone obviously does multi-task as it's running Unix, but with all the flaws in their design, you would be forgiven for not thinking it can...
