Aramex global shopper

Yesterday complained about low value and this morning it said cleared from customs, even know the time stamp shows cleared from customs before the time.

Guess we wait and see.

Still waiting for my ebay global order to clear!

Im in Durban, and I'm sure the customs office in question is JHB. Driving there is not an option at the moment. I see other members have much better service shipping direct from amazon, which I will definitely use going forward. What other options do we have when shipping from any other retailer?
Even with Amazon, Aramex' service has become unbearable. Sure Amazon will give you a full refund, but you need to wait for the ridiculous 1 month delivery time that was quoted by Aramex before you get the refund (or replacement). Amazon's argument is, you agreed that it could take up to a month and they need to give the courier the option of delivery. Even when it is obvious the last day that it can't possible make it in time.

I've written a number of times now to Amazon asking them why there isn't a better process to deal with Aramex. Obviously my queries have been ignored.

My much awaited Hot Sauce delivery. What do I do guys? (on Flex)

Not sure what to do in your case, but wanted to say that AGS is not the best when it comes to handling packages. I've had 3 recent packages arrive that looked like they'd played football with them... Contents were partly damaged, but nothing I couldn't fix myself (scale model cars for restoration). Still, the transport side should be a bit more gentle, particularly when marked "fragile". Just seems that when marked fragile, they'll purposefully mishandle even more...

I would contact the shop. With US customer service culture they're much more likely than Aramex to help you out. Wouldn't be surprised if they offered you a full refund even if it isn't entirely their fault. I can also see how some extra pressure in the wrong place could cause this to happen. I often see delivery vans with boxes haphazardly stacked on top of one another

Got this response regarding the US delays.

"They have a storm and the hub was closed for two days, I do apologise for the inconvenience"

Not sure if this is the correct place, I started using Aramex global shopper but it gets expensive. Does anyone know of a service where you can store-bought items and then ship them all together? I lost my usb receiver for my headsets and that cost me almost R300 in shipping from Aramex

I only know of Buyee for Japan https://buyee.jp/?lang=en.
I've sent things with both AGS and EMS. Both arrived every time but Aramex was quicker and not that expensive when everything was sent together.

The below is feedback from Aramex. What do you guys think based on the picture in my previous post?

15% of the value and R50 on top of that

No, it’s 15% of 110% of the value of the item excluding shipping (and taxes if you want to fight that fight).

But on Amazon it’s far easier to simply go through the checkout process and the import and shipping costs are all right there.

Looking at how it was packaged.. I don't see any padding in that picture you sent..
They could have packed it better but I suppose that applies to any package. I've contacted the US company and told them the situation.

Kinda makes me regret taking the FLEX option with Aramex, the insurance appears pretty worthless.

I am starting to get really annoyed with aramexglobalshopper.
why is it impossible to change the address?
i understand that there are security concerns but verify my request via email, sms, phone call, OTP....
if i log a "Submit my request"
