I had the same problem this week you can use the whatsapp chat
 
I have had the worst service ever from them but they are much cheaper then myus...
Used them both on the last few weeks
 
MyUS confirming if you are using Aramex, you should ideally send your package and it be on a plane before the 14th of December if you want to get it this year. Else you will get it sometime in the new year :|
 
What is the turn around time for a shipment to be added to your parcel list after being received by Aramex ? Ordered something off e-bay, the tracking indicates it was delivered on Monday at Aramex but there is nothing in May Parcel list.

I did so yesterday............. Aramex closed the ticket and said I must follow up again in 10 - 12 days due to USPS delays. I don't understand the process. According to the USPS tracking it was delivered with status "Delivered to agent for final delivery" ......... does this mean it did not not reach Aramex yet ?

Give it a day or two after arrival before claiming. It should show up now that you claimed though, emphasis on eventually.
 
So I was trying to import a drone, I have done it many time before, but this time aramex/usa customs had an issue....
Took me about a month to try get some answers as to why, but the aramex support is really bad.
and I was left with 2 options destroy or ship to another address in the USA.

I signed up for myus, they are very quick and efficient ,but expensive. and expecting it today.

So I ended up paying approximately R1400 to bring in a 100$ item.
The weight on the drone only is 108 grams.

EDIT: almost forgot there should also be a small lipo safe bag in the parcel.

So fedex arrive and my partner is home....and the guy is asking her for R390!
a fee that I paid last night already...I told her to send him back and he just left the parcel.

Find similar item on Amazon and do a check out to see what the import fee deposit will be.

With MyUS you can also prepay the duties ahead of time.

If I am not mistaken the final delivery in the US is a 3rd party

You aren’t alone but at least it’s quick. Glasses from the US @ $200. Listed value on MyUS is $30 lol. $57 for shipping+vat and some additional padding via FedEx.

Arrived at MyUS on Tuesday and was shipped out earlier today (apparently). Hope I have them in hand on Monday/Tuesday

Hope I can compare with someone’s Aramex package

Well my parcel is still in the US apparently but still on track to be delivered to JHB only tomorrow. No idea how that'll be possible by FedEx is taking a piss now.

Edit : Seems it’s at the Memphis Hub which has an airport? Seems we shall find out if they’re really in time tomorrow

Does AGS still only calculate shipping based on actual weight rather than volumetric weight ?
 
I was told this afternoon that there might be big delay customs delay due to festive season
