Battery draining issue.

This, you can narrow it down to the most likely culprit circuits so that you don't have to pull every fuse. Since it's a 95 Corolla that should be very easy, radio, cigarette lighter, lights, both internal and outside, alarm and immobilizer.

If you don't come right there you can expand your troubleshooting to other circuits.
Ill check again just to make sure we tested correctly.
 
Yes. I'm going to feel like a fool if we did it wrong. I asked my nephew to send the pics we took of the readings and Ill share it here.
Yeah, it's not a hard thing to do and you can do it again. Just asking to make sure because checking voltage and current are two very different things on most multimeter, and the multimeter are also different.
 
Also, many meters require you to unplug the positive (red) lead from the regular position and plug it into another spot to measure amps.
 
For current, make sure the dial is on the DC current reading at 20A. Again the meters are different so this is just a guide, it's better to see what meter you are using.

you said sound system ,if amps are installed ,dont just rely on the switch light snip the blue wire off on each amp .also on a cold engine just feel the starter solenoid and see if its warm at all ,and pull all the fuses out on the amp or amps ,also disconnect any crossovers if installed .you said possibly 2.5amp thats a classic amp not turning off or a die electric breakdown in starter switch or in the alternator diode pack .

The first Pic is the right way, you measure between the battery terminal and the negative cable.
We measured like that on Saturday. The system and radio have both been removed. We going to test again just in case we missed or overlooked something.
 
1st pic is horribly wrong ,edit misread it at 76ma and not 760ma

Do that and remove the fuses one by one. 0.76A is high considering that the recommended draw is less than 100mA.

Indeed, it cannot. A helpful way would be for the guy who says it's wrong to explain why, maybe if you ask nicely he would. I have never understood the concept of having to beg for an explanation, if I tell you something is wrong, I would explain why.

You also did the test with the car on and also off right? As in on not running? It would help to see the benchmark.

you cant check current on a volt terminal
He did. Me and my nephew both agree we will check again ASAP.
