Same problem.
Port forwarding does not work.
If you can see the ping of the server or scoreboard you might be able to join, but it will disconnect you soon enough and you wont be able to rejoin that server.
If you don't see a ping or scoreboard you will not be able to join that server.
This started in Battlefield 3 some time ago.
The best advice I can give you guys is to switch to Afrihost mobile like I have, if you can't get adsl. The ping is fine and stable.
I think they problem started when they changed the ip's to 197.

We are still experiencing this issue with no pings next to the servers.. and rondom disconnects, these are all on 8ta's side. either routing or port opening on there behalf..
I have recently installed Warframe. I got strict Nat not open. UPnP Malfunctioning..... I had to forward the following UDP ports 3960 and 3962. I did this in the router but still no luck , which means its on 8ta's side..
I also have my ports blocked on Utorrent and I get peering issues using 8ta, I have tested my setup with an mweb adsl account and all is working perfectly . all ports are open and no issues with any of those 3 programs/games mentioned above.
NOW 8TA , WE KNOW THE ISSUE IS ON YOUR SIDE. GET THIS FIXED ASAP .... I will also be making an official complaint about 8ta and this thread/forum. We are not getting any service.
Please fix our problems...

I have been away for a few weeks and was hoping by now Telkom Mobile would have resolved this.
Grand Master Telkom rep, you are responding to random peoples' threads and not the ones who are still having persistent issues (the current customers who are paying you!), even after a whole pile of them have responded and given you all other relevant information you could possibly need (via this ever-growing thread and the PMs from the handful of users you contacted).
This situation should have been escalated to a superior within Telkom a long time ago, as I'm sure all it takes is one senior person in Technical to make the few necessary changes that will solve majority of the users' issues. We, the customers, are all paying you for a service which we are not receiving, which is a direct violation of the CPA.
Wake up and solve this issue before this thread becomes a petition against you for the CPA to have a look at. We are all just looking for a solution here; no one is out for blood, yet!
Please solve this ASAP!
