BBM msgs on Cell C

Hi

For some reason my bbm msgs dont get deliverd most of the time on my cell c sim, i have to reboot a few times to get them send and recieve msgs...

anyone with a fix?

Move to a different network. I've currently got a CellC SIM card lying in my draw just waiting for the contract to run out for the exact same reason. Not even a SIM swap helped.

How old is your device?
I don't think it's the network provider,
I'm also on CellC and I have changed device's 3 times... (Due to me losing them)
So I'm now stuck with an old 9790 and I get the same issue, the mobile does not like connecting to BIS network,
Specially when traveling.

The other devices(Blackberry's) I used no issues at all.

bbm works 100% on my iphone on my cellc.

my main vodacom contract sim was in it..but i bought a lumia cash and took my sim out..so i bought a cell c sim just cause the BIS is only R27 on it vs vodacom's R59...i just BBM on it, thats all....

PS: Even at home on wifi..msgs dont get del or recieved unless i reboot few times...

Definitely the device then, maybe do a back up, reinstall the OS and restore the phone.

but with vodacom sim in i never had problem... can device have problem with cell c u mean?

sooo, a lady from cell c calle me now and told me to DOWNGRADE to bbm 5, due my 8520 is on version 5 software....BUT vodacom work perfect up to bbm 7....i dont get it...why is their a nr 8 out if some phones cant use it? its like my pc is on windows 7, but it cant run nero 12 due i must get nero 7....lol...really??

It is not working with any version!! Vodacom work with all version!! It just clearly state cell c dont want my money, so i will just give it to a proper company who have personal what know what they talk about!! Eh???? How can it be software on phone what is causing the problem, if i insert vodacom sim and BOOOOOOOM!!!! all work 100%!!! ??????
