I have grabbed a list of clients from our tickets that are complaining about slow speeds. I compiled a list and sent that on to Vumatel Noc.

It seems the OLT is taking a bit of strain during peak time. Once I have received feedback from Vumatel Noc I will advise accordingly.

Then they should add a 2nd or 3rd one. Dont they monitor traffic using performance monitoring tools, and deduce that OLT congesting, and then upgrade to additional cards? Why should the clients be the ones to inform them. They should be proactive in monitoring their network. Cant be too difficult to add additional capacity, in relation to the amount of people that have signed up in Belhar. I give them til tomorrow by COB to resolve the issue

its still on going during evening peak hours, and should not be like this

Feedback from Vumatel is that the max utilization on that pop is about 30% so resources is not an issue.

I'm still following up on this matter.

If Vumatel does not investigate in detail, since this affects clients across all ISPs on Vumareach in Belhar, social media is quickest way to get their attention

Hi all, please do some speedtests again this evening and post your results

I am.not preparee to pay R529 for a service that is mediocre at best during peak hours. This was not issue before. Otherwise Rain 5G is an option as Belhar is well covered
