Sunsky gives good service apparently. So does Banggood using Buffalo Shipping. That's the funny thing. So I ordered a Nokia 8 from Takealot, a buddy ordered a Xiaomi Mi 2s from Sunsky two days later. Guess what arrived first?
That they do, I've seen my buddy receiving his packages quicker from China then Raru. I'm starting to wonder if Raru is just a drop ship company now.Sunsky gives good service apparently. So does Banggood using Buffalo Shipping.

For the life of me I can't understand why people don't just do charge backs.
I’ve never needed to do that so I’m curious how you do it? You can’t do it online afaik. So go into a branch? And will the bank always do it?
What's the plan?I had Eid coming up , so ordered stuff a month in advance (7- 14 days delivery) as it was 10% cheaper than elsewhere.
Eid came and went, the delivery days kept shifting...so I finally cancelled the order. They wanted to give me a voucher instead of a refund. I refused. I never recieved either
What's the plan?
I can only assume Raru is on the way down and out, maintaining this method of withholding refunds is so dubious.Raru strikes again!![]()
Phone the number on your credit card or just phone the hotline of whatever bank it is and they'll redirect the call.I’ve never needed to do that so I’m curious how you do it? You can’t do it online afaik. So go into a branch? And will the bank always do it?
They do an investigation. It normally takes a week or 2 and if its an online purchase the retailer has to provide proof of delivery, failing which the bank will reverse the payment and you'll get your money back in your account.Curious too. How would the bank even know it is a legitimate 'charge back'? How does the bank know whether you received goods or not?
The above post basically, fairly straight forward, you usually phone, or email and fill in a form... The bank will investigate, but considering its Rarus SOP - they've probably done a few already.I’ve never needed to do that so I’m curious how you do it? You can’t do it online afaik. Problem with waiting for a refund is if they do go under, you're probably getting nothing.
Not 100% sure, but I think if their accounts are frozen, no ones getting a refund. Not RARU, but an electrical shop went bust after I had ordered some stuff and paid, a form from the bank emailed and filled in and 2 weeks later the money was back in my account, it was paid for with my credit card though if that makes a difference.
