Beware when ordering from RARU...

I placed an order from banggood on Sat, and I am expecting some of the items next week.

Sunsky gives good service apparently. So does Banggood using Buffalo Shipping.
That they do, I've seen my buddy receiving his packages quicker from China then Raru. I'm starting to wonder if Raru is just a drop ship company now.

Even my 2 powerbanks is taking a while.

Thank you for your mail.
We were just notified by our supplier that they had a logistical issue and will now be resending these goods.
They are consolidating all our orders and trying to get them here ASAP.

A bit upset with banggood at the moment.
Placed an order for a drone, and chose banggood because of the quick /tax free shipping.
now they tell me the parcel is too big?
and they didn't even change the option on the website

I had Eid coming up , so ordered stuff a month in advance (7- 14 days delivery) as it was 10% cheaper than elsewhere.

Eid came and went, the delivery days kept shifting...so I finally cancelled the order. They wanted to give me a voucher instead of a refund. I refused. I never recieved either

For the life of me I can't understand why people don't just do charge backs.

I’ve never needed to do that so I’m curious how you do it? You can’t do it online afaik. So go into a branch? And will the bank always do it?

Curious too. How would the bank even know it is a legitimate 'charge back'? How does the bank know whether you received goods or not?

I can only assume Raru is on the way down and out, maintaining this method of withholding refunds is so dubious.

Phone the number on your credit card or just phone the hotline of whatever bank it is and they'll redirect the call.

They do an investigation. It normally takes a week or 2 and if its an online purchase the retailer has to provide proof of delivery, failing which the bank will reverse the payment and you'll get your money back in your account.

The above post basically, fairly straight forward, you usually phone, or email and fill in a form... The bank will investigate, but considering its Rarus SOP - they've probably done a few already.

Problem with waiting for a refund is if they do go under, you're probably getting nothing.

Not RARU, but an electrical shop went bust after I had ordered some stuff and paid, a form from the bank emailed and filled in and 2 weeks later the money was back in my account, it was paid for with my credit card though if that makes a difference.

Not 100% sure, but I think if their accounts are frozen, no ones getting a refund.

Yes most likely not, I did react fairly quickly when I heard that the sheriff had come to collect all the stuff, and was pleasantly surprised that it worked.
