This would have been great 3 years ago. Now since everybody's got WhatsApp - not so much.
I still wish WhatsApp will realize that people are not tied to their mobile phones these days - release a tablet / web / PC / mac-app damnit! Allow multiple sign-in from multiple devices and sync everything! If BBM does that - perhaps... (although I doubt it).
One of the most important things for a IM service to have is a large user base, people sue what their friends use. I hate to say it but Gtalk is kind of geek onlyGtalk?
Technically for me its the best. It syncs, you may decide to log out if you want to, so people can see you're not in the mood to talk, but they can still send it for you to view later.
I read somewhere RIM changed their name to BlackberryWho made BBM? Rim? If so they should call it RIM Messenger, cause it will run on Android/Ios and not Blackberry. Hehe.
Yeah, the appeal of the blackberry to teens - or is it the parents of teens - is still very strong.Sounds like a boon for parents on other makes of phones.
At the JB concert it was pretty apparent the teeny-bopper scene is still very much hardcore Blackberry. Whether it will remain that way in 2 years time (after a full upgrade cycle has passed) is less clear.
Yeah, the joys of parental sacrifice.O/T: In my books any time spent not banging my head into the nearest guardrail at a Bieber concert is an opportunity wasted.![]()
How is that any different from read on BBM? People just ping you for hours instead on BBMI have never used a BB but most of my friends who use BB have resorted to deleting WhatsApp because of a stupid feature called "Last Seen" and i must admit i hate this feature cos now you can't seem to avoid those boring contact, and once you ignore them they call you every hour cos they have your number.
Bbm on my s4 would allow me to reach all those who just hate WhatsApp...
