Can't remove bathroom basin!

Ok so clearly the last chop who installed this basin used Thors jizz to stick it down to the counter top! It's a basin that sits on top of the counter, and you would think a normal human would just silicone around the base and that's that (NOT SILICONE IT DOWN) I want to remove it but FML I can't get the thing unstuck! I've tried to cut around the edges with a hacksaw blade, like try and slide it in...nope. I'm dying here.. help

Anyone else ever done the same thing with success?

There is nothing for it but brute force..

Safest way I can think, is to make some sharp wedges with a shallow angle from wood, and try hammering that in between the bottom of the sink and the counter..

Do you want to save the counter top? Maybe unscrew /detached the countertop if possible and work somewhere more comfortable or put it on its side.

Check the back for bolts also remove the taps

This, use the wire to slide between the basin and countertop to slice through the silicon.

There is normally bolts on the bottom or hidden towards the back.

See where you got the basin from. Places like CTM still would have diagrams, showing where the bolts may be.
