Cape Town: David Forbes murder case

Sadly, if the young man was having "premonitions" and practically saying his good-byes, then he clearly knew he had pissed off a very bad man.

or a very good man but the wrong man! There are certain individuals you do not feck with as they will make sure you will be a goner. Maybe this guy is such a person. I am sure we will know more very soon.

Looks like this guy was left to die, no mention of anyone calling an ambulance or rushing to aid this bloke...

medical attention was given.
i recall seeing a photo of the car and a pool of blood where he was lying on the floor.
i assume paramedics removed him from the car in order to assist.
in the photo, was an intubator still on the floor that had been left behind by the medics.

fair comments;
it is just that there is very little respect for life in this country.
I know as my step Dad was gunned down by a disgruntled ex employee.
(BTW for no real reason other than being fired for theft)
this country in general has minimal respect for life.
no matter what our constitution says, SA is just a shoot, kill, whatever.
It really hurts me to see this first hand, it brings up emotions that I have put away 12 years ago.

Sadly, its not just in SA...

Sure but the SA saga are just so much prominent. Go look at the SA murder rate and violent crime stats compared to the rest of the world. ;)

Very true. I was watching 'Bowling for Columbine' last night and they quoted the number of people killed by guns in places like Canada and Australia and the US ... doesn't even come close to where we are. I believe Mitchell's Plain is called the murder capital of the world.

By who? Basically everywhere in Honduras is worse, not to even mention all the slummy areas of South America.

Pulling stats out of your ass? Honduras is the murder capital of the world

so I take it his pleading self defence

Not going to work depending at when he was injured. If he followed him for revenge after the effect he is in serious trouble whether it was justified or not.
