No you will still be able to use all HSDPA bands (including 900MHz) but the phone will not use HDUPA. Just dail *#0011# select back, choose number 8 (phone control), then select number 3(NAS control, from there you pick number 5 (RCC HSPA control) and then select change revisions (number 2) and then number 2 again (release 5 HSDPA only). Then press menu and END. You should be fine from there. I check throughout the day on which band I am on and its mostly 900 MHz since I don't have strong signal on 2100 MHz.

Great speeds using 2100 MHz band. Got 1.5mbps dl and 0.5mbps ul speeds just now. Signal is just a slight issue but nothing bad though.
How did you reach that conclusion?I also believe that that is one of the reasons they have not switched LTE on commercially (running on reframed 2100mhz)
