Someone from customer care called me yesterday to ask me if I'm happy with my current services, and she was battling to hear me. She eventually asked if there's a land line around where she can call me on as the call quality was bad. FAIL!!

I'm in the Summerstrand Area mostly, close to NMMU. I use the Vodafone K3772-Z modem and got the GigaNite 20 data plan. I used to get 5Mbps - 6Mbps most of the time, now I get anything between 0.8Mbps to 3.8Mbps and maybe a short random time when there is no Internet Access, both on my modem and my phone.
I'm also often around there as I'm a student. I generally get a solid connection. Have you spoken to Cell C or tried your data sim in a phone?
I tried plugging the Sim Card into my phone and use the phone as a modem, that didnt work. I also tried to open up a web page on my phone (www.google.com), that didn't work either.
I think I will PM the Cell C Rep around here. I just experienced this issue just now, but it was for like 30 - 40 Minutes of no connectivity. I did a ping to mybroadband, all timed out.
Another thing I have started to notice now is when i'm in certain area's of campus, there is no connectivity.
And here is another issue right now. Location Bram Fisher drive in Blairgowrie. No data coming down at all. nothing.

I have been experiencing exactly the same problems on a 2GB Cell C data bundle via MWEB on a Google Nexus 7.
I logged a call with MWEB technical support. The solution they suggested was to create a new (empty) access point (called "internet") and to use this one, instead of the default, which came on the SIMM, called "Cell C". This appears to have solved the problem for me, although I can't explain why.
Is anyone here receiving any feedback from Cell C, after posting the required information (location, etc.)?

CellC aint fixing anything, anytime soon. The no internet connectivity complaints are piling up on Hellopeter everyday & Cell C can do F**kall about it.
I'll never ever recommend Cell C to anyone. They are F**kin THIEVES.
My prepaid giga 200 bundle expires in December & i'm glad i'll never be using this F**ked up Network Provider ever again.
