CellC cancellation

I have been calling since early this morning I think my first call was just after 8am I have been trying every 30-40 min trying to cancel my contact and the lady just say hold on they will transfer the call. But I still have not spoken to someone in the correct department Can someone from cell c please please contact me. I also wants to know if so many customers asking and complaining for a very long time to cancel the contact with cell c why don’t cell c do something about there services.

Hi, Please can Cell-C assist me with cancellation of a data contract that is past the contract period which they keep charging me for even though there is no service on the SIM and really poor network coverage in my area.

I have tried to cancell with 084 143 number but no response and cut off on 084 145.

So they now tell me that I must pay another month of this.. Grossly unfair, I have faithfully paid the monthly subscription despite their network coverage being incredible poor in Port Elizabeth and now they tell me I must pay for an additional 3 months..

There is a 20 Gig data balance on the SIM because it just doesn't work.. The best I seem to get form their network is Edge!

Cell-C, please just credit my account for the three months subscriptions and be done with this pretence of a service that you sold me.
 
Hi CellC , i am trying to query my account as its gone up for a second month now and its a top up that is sitting on a month to month, please make contact with me urgently as i am also trying to cancel this contract with no luck

I had this same problem. You get through and then you fail the security questions, after a third time (with the exact same answers) I was sent through to cancelation department... Think not just put the line down in my ear. I got the cancelation dept number and after a 20min conversation and some bs of additional contracts that I wanted to add last year Sept (needs to be closed first) I got my cancelation confirmation 10min later via SMS. It seems that the good times I had with Cellc is lost and it is the next helkom? I hope not. More jobs lost every day...
 
I went to MTN for their Black Friday special which is the same if not more than Cell C has to offer me for R499. I require my number to be ported. I am on a month to month with Cell C. I duly phoned customer care only to be told they cannot cancel the line and they must put me through to sales to see if they can counter offer, I got put through to someone... not sales who told me they cannot help me and I should of cancelled my contract Monday to Friday 8 to 5.... sorry... how can you tell me that I need to phone a specific number to cancel... I only have to serve you with a months notice which I was duly willing to do... like Cell C got my business from Vodacom... I paid out Vodacom their notice and had my number ported to Cell C that month. According to Cell C and after going to the store in Pavillion, this will not happen on Cell C. This means I loose my special at MTN and Cell C hasn’t even been willing to counter offer even though I can show them on their site a counter offer package they can give, not that I am interested now. I would just rather cancel the contract, get my family to do the same and move all over to MTN, we all on Month to Month. I know that my number can be released for port out and a ghost number given to the end of my month I owe Cell C. But it’s a cunning way of trying to keep me on your network, which I might of done. Your poor service from your call centre, the fact that your cancellations are not even done via email 24 hours a day and I am battling to find the clause in the contract that says I can only cancel with a cell c Monday to Friday 8 till 5, any other time is not seen as a month. Telkom is just as bad and now I see why a potential buyout might make a fantastic merger. It amazes me that the reviews on Hello Peter get responded to just before 14:00 on a Saturday but you can’t assist clients with porting and cancellations outside of these times...... my account number is ********* if you think you can help your customer

I’ve been trying to call cell c to cancel my data contract, the phone is ringing non stop with no answer...... my contract is expiring on feb 2020.... cell c number ********** and u can contact me on *********** please

Far easier to change bank account number.
Walk into FNB, cancel account, open new account, 15 minutes, advise who you have to, deposit money to test, pay someone to test. Smile.
 
Yoh what a day light robbery, after ending and honouring the contract they stil take debit orders, calling their retention is not helpful, lazi cats delay the cancellation. I had two tabs data contracts on *** **** *** and **********

I am even scared to renew ... I don't think I will ever join cellc. Being treated like I am not important but my money is important!!! Please cancel the above lines and terminate your debits I have children going to school, I need that cash you debitting from my account. Call me if you need to on ********** I will remain a prepaid, because money seems to cause us trouble.

I went up and down in malls trying to terminate your debits and data cards on contracts but your sales people who are good at liying kept on pushing luck, first cancel the above lines

I finally seem to have got it sorted. Final debit order goes off next month, but I'm going to get the bank to put a block on it just in case after it's gone through. Process went smoother than I expected - they didn't even argue that I was cancelling so early. Maybe they've decided that the way to free up their clogged network and lessen complaints about LTE being so bad is to simply allow people to cancel! :laugh: Will see if it goes smoothly or not, but here's hoping.
