Cellphone masts: health debate continues

If the property price was correct yes.

My main concern would be what servitudes the property has consequent to the mast and the inevitability of having technies loafing about my property ...

But if a network operator were to provide me with fibre to the home with an uncapped unshaped 1Gbs internet connection even if it meant having network operator oafs wondering about and a fuggly structure I'd buy the house if I could afford it. (Might not live permanently there - might rent it out on a hourly basis ....)

Also masts aren't usually put up in peoples backyards so if you ask the sensible question - would you buy an upmarket apartment which was housing a "tower" I would answer hell yes.

The further you are from the tower the more you're exposed from your phone. Beri and marine1 should be begging for one in their respective back yards...

It is interesting, why is cancer on the rise?
Food, lifestyle, this includes electronic devices I would suggest.
My ex's mom had her stomach removed due to cancer, the doc ( Oncologist) says 1 out of 2 people will get cancer today.

Because detection methods are improving? Because people are living longer lives? Because there's a whole ****-ton more people around than 50 or 80 years ago?

I have a wifi router running 24/7 inside my house. Now lets view my laptop and iPad etc ... like a cellphone and ignore there signal this bloody router is giving off constant ionizing radiation?

DSTv's signal comes from 37,500km above our heads - just imagine how strong it must be - and blankets much of the globe. Tinfoil hats will no longer save us...

I've had a mast in my backyard for the last 13 years. Even the place I stay in JHB during the week got a mast in the yard.

BTW, I see you refuse to answer my question on how many studies would convince you there is an extremely slim chance evidence will ever be found. Why is that?

Can you show a study of anything that says that? A single study saying a any technology is 100% safe (and it must say that in those words). I think your requirement is a bit insane if you dont make it a requirement for everything you do and touch in life.

If you live in Newton Park and think that cell transmitters are hazardous to your health then you need to consider moving elsewhere... Newton park is "infested" with transmitter sites!

We know which types of radiation are bad for one's continued existence, and through which mechanisms and at what magnitudes. We also know that communication devices don't subject people to these types or levels of radiation.

For sane people this is enough.
